Trotter & Associates, Inc (TAI) recently completed roofing evaluations for the St Charles Fire Department. The roofing in question was dated to the original construction and had undergone several repairs. In addition to the leaks reported by the client, our observations identified several other issues - blisters, ponding, failing seams, raised fasteners, and more. The evaluation included coring the existing roof to determine the depth of the insulation and the extent of moisture infiltration. Upon completion of the evaluation, TAI provided a report with an assessment of the current conditions, recommendations for remediation measures and/or replacement (including timeframe), and an estimate of associated costs.
